Term 3 - Week 5 CCA

Photography

Last week, I went to the  CCA. It was really fun.  I learned a new thing which 'perspective''. If we use this technique, we could make our photo more interesting. After 15-20minutes of discussing , Mr. Mark asked us to go around the school and take approximately 6 photos. Then, we need to choose 2 of our best photos  and share it in google drive. We'll discuss the photo next week :)  Looking forward for next week :) Here's my photo for this week ;)

Table Tennis
Last week, I went to the CCA. As usual, we played a couple of games with each other. It was really fun but I think as time pass we don't really learned anything as the teacher weren't even there :( Besides, we need to from each other in order to improve our own skills. Additionally, I think my table tennis is improving each week. It was really fun to play with each other. We could learn new things by playing with each other. Looking forward for this week:)

Term 3 - Week 4 CCA

Photography

Last week, I joined the photography CCA. It was really fun.  I learned a new thing about photography which is 'the rule of thirds'. It was really interesting and if we use this rule, we could make our photo looks more decent. After 15-20minutes of discussing and watching a video, Mr. Mark asked us to go around the school and take approximately 10 photos. Then, we need to choose 2 of our best photos  and share it in google drive. Additionally,  today we need to explain why we chose it and there's the photos that I chose last week on the left side :)

Table Tennis
Last week, I went to the CCA. We played a couple of games with each other. I also learned some new skills. We learn new skills from each other in order to improve our own skills. Additionally, I think my table tennis is improving each week. It was really fun to play with them and we could learn new things from each other. Looking forward for this week:)

TERM 3

Tuesday : Table Tennis & Photography

The reason I chose table tennis was because I wanted to improve my table tennis skills. I also wanted to improve my photography skills as, I really like to take photographs and cameras. Additionally, I want to get some credits for CAS (creativity and action). In order to improve my skills and get the credits , I decided to join both CCA. 

Week 5

Knitting for Charity 

Knitting was fun! I continue making my bear and I'm almost finish the body part. I'm half way through it. YEAY! I'm getting excited to finish it XD. I think I improve knitting skills. Looking forward for next week ;)

Gamelan 

Gamelan was cancelled last week due to swimming carnival.

Week 4

Knitting for Charity 

I continued making my bear. I almost finish the body part  of the bear and I'm half way through it. I'm getting excited to finish it and show it to my friends XD. It was really fun and I think I improve my knitting skills. Looking forward for next week ;)

Gamelan was fun! We learn a new song and I also go to learn different type of Gamelan. I like the sound of it and it's a really interesting instruments. Looking forward for next week CCA!

1st week & 2nd week of CCA

I didn't go to the CCAs on week one and knitting last Monday because I was sick. The first CCA I joined is gamelan which is last Tuesday. It was really fun and interesting. I've been wanted to try it. It's quite easy and I love the sound of it. Last Tuesday, the teacher thought us a simple song which was really fun and easy to learn. I hope I can do better with you.  Looking forward for this week CCAs.

TERM 2 CCA

Monday : Knitting For Charity

Tuesday: Gamelan 

This term I chose knitting for charity, pingpong and gamelan. The reason I chose knitting is because I wanted to learn more and finish what I did last term. Additionally, I can also help the children who need toys/dolls to play :)  Moreover, the reason I chose Gamelan is because I wanted to learn  more about Indonesian culture especially Music. Gamelan is a really interesting musical instruments and I want to learn more about it.

6th week of CCA

Monday : Knitting For Charity 
Knitting was fun!!! I've improved a lot since the previous week. I started making my doll's body. It's good to see that I've improved my knitting skill. Looking forward for week 7. ;)

Tuesday: Homework Club 
I did Math revision because I had a test on Friday. I did revision with, my friend Risa, who also joined the Homework Club. There's also teacher that helped Risa and I, if we didn't understand. I think homework club help me a lot because I can prepare more for the test. Looking forward for week 7 :)

Wednesday: Netball
Netball was really fun! We did some warm-ups and stretching. Then, we had a training of passing and catching. After that, we played a game with 2 ball in the court which is, really fun. It also make us more aware  as there's 2 game going on at the same time. I love it! Looking forward for this week! :)

Friday : Badminton
Badminton was really fun! We did 7 laps of running and some stretching. After that we did some badminton training with Mr. Herman. Then, we played game with our partner and my partner last week was Yuki and we played against Soobin's and Minji's partners. We won the games against them!Yeay! In my opinion, I think I've improved a lot since the previous weeks. Looking forward for this week game :)

5th Week of CCA

Monday : Knitting For Charity 
Knitting was fun last week! I've improved a lot since the previous week. I finished making my doll's legs and I'm going to start making the body today. Looking forward for today. ;)

Tuesday: Homework Club 
I didn't went to homework club last week because,  I hurt my ankle during PE.

Wednesday: Netball
I didn't went to netball last week because,  I hurt my ankle during PE on Tuesday and the doctor also said that I need to rest for a couple of days.

Friday : Badminton
Badminton was really fun! I played a game with Cindy to practice, Saturday game. I've improved a lot since the previous weeks. Looking forward for this week game.

Fourth of CCA

Monday : Knitting For Charity 
Knitting was fun last week! I've improved a lot since the previous week. It's  a good start after tons of practices, I finally got it! Now, I'm starting to make a doll. It's great to see hat I improved a lot since the first time I started knitting. Looking forward for nextweek! ;)

Tuesday: Homework Club 
Homework club was great! I did my math works and my science assignments. Looking for forward for next week.

Wednesday: Netball
Netball was fun! We did some training with  the coach & NZIS students. After we did some running and stretches. We also had some passing and catching training. In my opinion  I think, I've improved my netball skills.  We also played some games before it ended. Can't wait of next week! ;)

Friday : Badminton
Badminton was really fun! I played a game with Cindy to practice, this Saturday game. In my opinion, I think my badminton skills are improving and I would like it to improve more. Looking forward for this friday game and tournament on the 7th March!;)

Third week of CCA

Monday : Knitting For Charity 
Knitting was fun last week! I've improved a lot since the previous week. It's  a good start after tons of practices, I finally got it! Looking forward for this week! ;)

Tuesday: Homework Club 
Homework club was great! I did my math works and finish up some exercises that, I missed. There's a couple of question that I don't understand and I asked my friend and the teacher who's in charge. They help a lot! 

Wednesday: Netball
Netball was fun! We did some training with  the coach & NZIS students. After we did some running and stretches. We also had some passing and catching training. Additionally, we did some shooting. I've improved my shooting skills.  We also played some games before it ended. Can't wait of this week! ;)

Friday : Badminton
Badminton was really fun! We played badminton with random people.  At first, my partner was Risa, then it was Minji and people in other grades. It's really fun because we keep changing partners and we can build new relationship with people in other grade .  In my opinion, I think my badminton skills are improving and I would like it to improve more. Looking forward for this friday game and tournament on the 7th March!;)

Second Week of CCA

Monday : Knitting For Charity & Tuesday: Homework Club 
Knitting and Homework Club were cancelled last week due to heavy rain.

Wednesday: Netball
Netball was fun! We did some training with  the coach & NZIS students. After we did some running and stretches. we practice throwing and catching the ball. We also played sideline netball and  before it ended, we played a game with the NZIS student.

Friday : Badminton
Badminton was really fun! We played badminton with our partners.  My partner is Risa and our opponent is Siwon and Minji. After a few games, we change partners. In my opinion, I think my badminton skills are improving and I would like it to improve more. Looking forward for this friday game ;)

First Week CCA

Monday : Knitting For Charity
I've never done knitting before and it was my first time to knit. I found it really hard but, I keep trying. I think I got it now. Its really fun and interesting to do something new.

Tuesday: Homework Club
Homework Club was great! I did my math and science homework. There's a couple of question that I don't get it in math so, that's the time for me to seek help. There's a lot of LSAs that are in particular subject such as math, science, english and etc. It help me a lot ;)

Wednesday: Netball
Netball was fun! We did some training with Phoebe because the coach & NZIS students were late because the traffic was so bad.  They arrive at 3:45 so, we just start the game and some of us, including go home at 4:00. Looking forward for this week!

Friday : Badminton
Badminton was really fun! We played badminton with random partners. For the first game, my partner was Arwa and we played against Ririna and Momoko. Then, for the second game I played with Soo Bin and we played against Beatrice and her partner. Looking forward for this friday game ;)

The reason I chose Knitting is because I've never done it before and I wanted to learn something new. In addition, I would like to do something for the community and this will help me to achieve it. Furthermore, the reason I chose homework club is because sometimes there's assignments/homework that, I don't understand and I need help. Homework Club is where, I can ask teachers and friends to help me. I think its really beneficial for me. Lastly, the reason I chose Netball and Badminton is because I wanted to improve my skills and I wanted to become more active.
